The Art Pieces is the design studio of Universal Navigation Inc. We design product interfaces, premium websites, and mobile apps for companies that want the work to feel finished, not assembled.
The practice
Four kinds of work. A project can be one of them, or a sequence. The statement of work says which.
The work should feel inevitable.
We do not sell paintings, prints, or a theme with a logo dropped in. The name is the standard: a digital piece is finished when the interface is calm and the code matches it.
Universal Navigation Inc. takes the work from Wilmington and delivers it to companies across the United States. Nothing on this website starts a project by itself.

Short, written, and in this order. We do not begin from a mood board alone.
Frame
A scope that names the screens, pages, or the app surface.
Make
Design, frontend, or both. The scope says which hands are on it.
Hand off
Files, a working front end, and notes your team can run.
A fit
You want an interface with a point of view, and you can review work in writing on business days.
Not a fit
A finished site by tomorrow, a stock theme with the logo swapped, or a catalog of physical art.
